Overview
Cabramatta High School is a large school within a multi-cultural community.
The school first opened in 1958, and since then, has been providing quality education to the students of Cabramatta and the neighbouring suburbs. Many of the students are from Non-English Speaking Backgrounds. The school stands on eleven hectares of landscaped grounds, with many playing areas and seating areas for quiet study or relaxation. The school has a large lecture theatre, a library, a multi-purpose air-conditioned hall and a fitness laboratory. As computers become an integral part of our society, Cabramatta High has responded to these technological demands by incorporating computers into as many subject areas as possible. We have six computer laboratories spread over the school with IBM Compatible Computers. A well-equipped Learning Centre exists for seniors and tennis courts have been built. Our students achieve well in the academic, creative and physical areas of education. The school has many programs to help students with their studies, make decisions about their careers and link high school with its feeder primary school and local TAFEs.
